Vineyards were beautiful, ride was beautiful, food was incredible, everything was incredible. Cannot recommend enough. I’ve been on a countless number of bike tours and this was up there with the best!!
Our trail bikes are Trek Marlin & Giant Talon hardtails: front suspension, wide tires, flat pedals and a flat-tire kit. They are the right pick if you want the exercise, you are riding the KVR or the channel path, or you are under 16 and cannot rent an e-bike yet.
That is what they are for. The KVR is packed gravel with a grade that never passes about 2 percent, and a hardtail rolls easily. Little Tunnel and back is 38 km with 19 km of steady climbing, which is a full day and a proper workout on a pedal bike; most riders who want the tunnel take an e-bike.
Trek Marlin: Small 5’0″ to 5’3″, Medium 5’4″ to 5’10”, Large 5’11” to 6’3″, Extra Large 6’3″ to 6’5″. Giant Talon: Small 5’0″ to 5’3″, Medium 5’4″ to 5’10”. Between sizes, take the smaller one; it is easier to handle. We set the saddle height before you leave and is adjustable with a quick release under the seat.
A helmet, lock and flat-tire kit (just ask us) are included. Bring closed-toe shoes, active clothing (no heels, flip-flops or heavy jeans), sunscreen and water; a bottle is $5 if you forget. Your own pedals or saddle are welcome; tell us when you book.
Use the kit if you know how (and you have asked for the flat repair kit) or please call 604-626-5167 and we will talk you through it or arrange a swap. Do not ride on a flat; damage to the rim or tire is charged.
Yes, if one is free. Trail bikes are $30 for 2 hours, $40 for a half day (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm) and $50 for the full day from 9 am to 5 pm; e-bikes are $45, $65 and $85. For more than one day, multi-day rates are available on-line or at our location.
The channel path and the Lake-to-Lake lane for a flat hour or two, the KVR to the Naramata Bench wineries for a half day, Munson Mountain for the view. Google maps is the best way to explore or ask us for a route.
The credit card you booked with, ID if we ask, closed-toe shoes and active clothing. Every rider signs our release of liability, sent with your confirmation so you can sign it before you arrive.
A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable prior to your rental. All payments are non-refundable if you cancel or are unable to attend for any reason, including weather, wildfire, smoke, road closures, natural disasters, travel disruptions, illness, or other circumstances beyond your control. If we are unable to operate the rental due to unsafe conditions or circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you regarding available options. If you will be more than 30 minutes late, please contact us as we may release your bikes.
